Tania Klimasko-Hoffman

Artist Statement:
I am an award winning artist, based in Maryhill and Southampton, Canada. My passion is watercolour. I love the interplay of paint and water in this medium; the flow and merge to create perfect harmony. I love exploring and experimenting to create transparent and luminous works. Through intuitive, spontaneous and sensitive brush strokes, I aim to capture emotion in any fleeting moment.
My works include vibrant, impressionistic florals, landscapes and portraits, infused with bright, bold colour.
As a life long learner, after a successful career teaching the arts with the Waterloo District Board of Education, I continue to search for excellence in creating works of art. I love travelling, painting Plein air in various locations around the world.
I also enjoy teaching Watercolour Painting at the Southampton Art Gallery and at my Studio.
You can find my work in many private collections, at the Southampton Art Gallery and at, "Sunset Studio, Sauble Beach" and "Sunset Studio North", Maryhill, Ontario.
